MEet Jennifer Thompson
Owner, lead planner, cheese & charcuterie afficionado + do’er of all the things
Jennifer Thompsons’ professional career began in 2009, working for a large corporate caterer in Toronto while completing her diploma in Special Event Planning from George Brown College.
Working her way up from Catering Coordinator to Director of Catering & Events, Jennifer has a well-rounded background from Catering Operations to Venue Management and Private Event Planning. Jennifer’s hospitality experience is diverse, spending over 10 years working with the top caterers, florists, photographers and designers in the Greater Toronto Area.
For four years, Jennifer was the lead Event Consultant for a wedding venue, providing exceptional experiences for hundreds of couples. Clients consistently praised her innate organizational skills, calm demeanour, mastery of details and her ability to lead a diverse team towards a common goal.
It was a natural next step to serve as the Lead Planner of her own business, Jenuine Occasions, providing big picture strategy and creating memorable life-cycle, corporate and non-profit events through a thoughtful and detailed approach.
